A young boy befriends a giant robot from outer space that a paranoid government agent wants to destroy. The Iron Giant is a 1999 American English-language Animation Action film featuring Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick Jr., Vin Diesel, James Gammon, Cloris Leachman, John Mahoney and Mark Hubley. The movie is based on The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. Warner Bros. Feature Animation was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Des Mcanuff and Allison Abbate. The Iron Giant is written by Tim Mccanlies, Brad Bird, Ted Hughes, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and it is directed by Brad Bird. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Iron Giant was released on 6th August 1999 and takes a screen time of 87 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The Iron Giant was made on a budget of $70 million and at the box office it grossed only $23 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Tim McCanlies and Brad Bird. Cinematography was done by Steven Wilzbach and editing by Darren T. Holmes. The music was composed by Michael Kamen. At the 2000 BAFTA Awards It won an award for Best Feature Film.
