During the Six-Day War, Ashraf Marwan becomes a spy for Mossad, providing them with valuable information, but later faces doubts about his trustworthiness when his warnings of an Egyptian invasion prove false, ultimately leading to a military stalemate and a peace treaty between Egypt and Israel. The Angel is a 2018 English-language Drama Thriller motion picture starring Marwan Kenzari, Toby Kebbell, Hannah Ware, Sapir Azulay, Tsahi Halevi, Maisa Abd Elhadi and Peter Trevor. The movie is based on The Angel: The Egyptian Spy Who Saved Israel by Uri Bar-Joseph. Adama Pictures in association with TTV Productions and Sumatra Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Antoine Stioui, Simon Istolainen, Zafrir Kochanovsky, Matt O toole and Esther Hornstein. The Angel is written by David Arata and directed by Ariel Vromen. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Angel was released on 14th September 2018. The Angel was made on a budget of $12 million. Cinematography was done by Terry Stacey and editing by Danny Rafic. The music was composed by Pinar Toprak.
