Wong Fei Hung

In late 19th century Canton, Wong Fei-Hung protects his community from foreign invasion and corruption, while facing challenges with his martial arts school and local militia, and guiding his Aunt Yee who questions her Western ideals. Wong Fei Hung is a 1991 Mandarin-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Jet Li, Yuen Biao, Jacky Cheung, Rosamund Kwan, Kent Cheng, Biao Yuen and Mike Leeder. Golden Harvest in association with Paragon Films and Film Workshop. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tsui Hark. Wong Fei Hung is written by Tsui Hark, Yuen Kai-chi, Leung Yiu-ming and Elsa Tang and it is directed by Tsui Hark. Golden Harvest acquired the distribution rights for the film. Wong Fei Hung was released on 15th August 1991 in Cantonese,Mandarin,English and French languages and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Cinematography was done by Ardy Lam, Bill Wong, David Chung, Arthur Wong, Wingo Chan and Wilson Chan and editing by Marco Mak. The music was composed by James Wong along with George Lam.
