PolyGram Filmed Entertainment in association with Kapurfilm, Working Title Films, Film4 Productions and ProsonFilm. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Alison Owen. Elizabeth is written by Michael Hirst and directed by Shekhar Kapur. PolyGram Filmed Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. Elizabeth was released on 7th January 1999 and takes a screen time of 123 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
