Eleven-year-old Mark Sway and his brother Ricky stumble upon a mob lawyer who plans to kill himself to avoid mob retribution, leading Mark to seek legal representation and face off against a political opportunistic US Attorney while attempting to protect himself and his brother from the mobs wrath. The Client is a 1994 American English-language Crime Drama movie starring Susan Sarandon, Tommy Lee Jones, Mary-louise Parker, Anthony Lapaglia, Anthony Edwards, Ossie Davis and Tre Matthews. The movie is inspired from The Client by John Grisham. Regency Enterprises in association with Alcor Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Arnon Milchan and Steven Reuther. The Client is written by John Grisham, Akiva Goldsman and Robert Getchell and it is directed by Joel Schumacher. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Client was released on 20th July 1994 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. The Client was made on a budget of $45 million and at the box office it grossed only $15 million.
