A man named Jacob travels to Los Angeles to find his missing sister, and in the process uncovers dangerous connections to a gang, drug dealer, pimp, and corrupt politician, seeking his vengeance and eventually becoming a detective before returning to South Africa. Message from the King is a 2016 English-language Thriller Action movie featuring Chadwick Boseman, Luke Evans, Teresa Palmer, Alfred Molina, Arthur Darbinyan, Lucan Melkonian and Dave Thompson. Message from the King was Produced by Stephen Cornwell, David Lancaster and Simon Cornwell. The movie is directed by Fabrice Du Welz. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film.
