Sherlock Holmes investigates a series of crimes orchestrated by the criminal mastermind Professor Moriarty, enlists the help of a Romani fortune-teller and her brother, discovers Moriartys plan to start a world war, escapes from Moriartys captivity with the aid of Watson and Simza, ultimately prevents Moriartys assassination attempt at a peace summit, sacrifices himself in the process, but his survival is hinted at in the conclusion. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is a 2011 English-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, Jared Harris, Eddie Marsan, Rachel Mcadams and Andrew Paxton-gray. The movie is inspired from Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Silver Pictures in association with Wigram Productions and Village Roadshow Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey and Dan Lin. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is written by Michele Mulroney, Kieran Mulroney and Arthur Conan Doyle and it is directed by Guy Ritchie. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was released on 30th December 2011 and takes a screen time of 129 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was made on a budget of $125 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $543 million.
