A fired minor league sports commentator clashes with his daughter and son-in-laws helicopter parenting style while babysitting their children, but eventually reconciles and takes a job as a commentator for a Little League Baseball team. Walden Media in association with Chernin Entertainment, Face Productions and Dune Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Billy Crystal, Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark. Parental Guidance is written by Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse and it is directed by Andy Fickman. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Parental Guidance was released on 3rd January 2013 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. Parental Guidance was made on a budget of $25 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million.
