A toy salesman named Scott Calvin accidentally becomes Santa Claus and must convince his family that he is the real deal while facing skepticism and legal trouble, eventually being able to fulfill his duties with his son by his side. Walt Disney Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Brian Reilly, Robert Newmyer and Jeffrey Silver. The Santa Clause is written by Leo Benvenuti and Steve Rudnick and it is directed by John Pasquin. Buena Vista Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Santa Clause was released on 11th November 1994 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
