In Beverly Hills, a chihuahua named Chloe gets dognapped in Mexico, but with the help of a German Shepherd named Delgado, she escapes dog fights, faces danger with mountain lions, and eventually reunites with her owner Rachel and finds love with another dog named Papi. Beverly Hills Chihuahua is a 2008 American English-language Adventure Comedy film starring Piper Perabo, Manolo Cardona, Jamie Lee Curtis, Andy Garc A, George Lopez, Drew Barrymore and Dennis Garr. Walt Disney Pictures in association with Mandeville Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman, John Jacobs and Ricardo Del R O. Beverly Hills Chihuahua is written by Analisa Labianco and Jeffrey Bushell and it is directed by Raja Gosnell. Walt Disney Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Beverly Hills Chihuahua was released on 20th November 2008 and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. At the very least, it would have been much more appealing than the films gambit of taking real dogs and using CGI technology to make it look as if they are actually talking, a conceit that can come off beautifully when handled properly (as it was in the glorious Babe films and the recent remake of Charlottes Web) and plays as good old fashioned nightmare fuel when it isnt (as it was in pretty much every other film in recent years to try it).
