After the death of his mother, Albert is taken care of by his foster sister, Harriet, as they move to a new place while encountering challenges, but eventually form a bond through magic and both begin to see Alberts imaginary friend, Bogus, leading to their reconciliation and a final goodbye to Bogus at Lorraines grave. Bogus is a 1996 American English-language Comedy Family movie featuring Whoopi Goldberg, G Rard Depardieu, Haley Joel Osment, Denis Mercier, Nancy Travis, Gérard Depardieu and John Haynes Walker. Regency Enterprises in association with Yorktown and New Regency. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Norman Jewison, Arnon Milchan and Jeff Rothberg. Bogus is written by Jeff Rothberg, Francis X. Mccarthy Jr., Alvin Sargent, Gayle Fraser-baigelman, Michael Jewison, Norman Jewison, Patrick Markey, Arnon Milchan and Michael G. Nathanson and it is directed by Norman Jewison. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the film. Bogus was released on 6th September 1996 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. Bogus was made on a budget of $25 million and at the box office it grossed only $4 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Alvin Sargent. Cinematography was done by David Watkin and editing by Stephen E. Rivkin. The music was composed by Marc Shaiman.
