One Missed Call

People mysteriously start receiving voicemail messages from their future selves, foretelling their deaths. One Missed Call is a 2018 Japanese Japanese-language movie starring Ko Shibasaki, Shinichi Tsutsumi, Kazue Fukiishi, Yutaka Matsuchige, Goro Kishitani and Renji Ishibashi. The movie is based on Chakushin Ari by Yasushi Akimoto. Kadokawa-Daiei Eiga was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Yoichi Arishige, Fumio Inoue and Naoki Sato. The movie is directed by Takashi Miike. Toho acquired the distribution rights for the film. The motion picture has a running time of 112 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. One Missed Call was made on a budget of $1 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $16 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Minako Daira.
