A ballet student uncovers a coven of witches plotting to sacrifice her at a prestigious dance school in Germany, ultimately managing to defeat the headmistress and escape as the school is destroyed, surviving while the witches perish. Suspiria is a 1977 Italian-language Horror movie starring Jessica Harper, Stefania Casini, Flavio Bucci, Miguel Bos, Barbara Magnolfi, Susanna Javicoli and Lela Svasta. The movie is based on Suspiria de Profundis by Thomas De Quincey. Seda Spettacoli was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Claudio Argento. The movie is directed by Dario Argento. Produzioni Atlas Consorziate acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Suspiria was released on 10th December 1979 and takes a screen time of 99 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $1430 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dario Argento and Daria Nicolodi. Cinematography was done by Luciano Tovoli and editing by Franco Fraticelli. The music was composed by Goblin along with Dario Argento.
