Missiamma

In a village, a young man and woman pretend to be married in order to secure a job as headmaster and teacher, but they discover that the woman is actually the Zamindars lost daughter, leading to a reunion and their eventual marriage. Missiamma is a 1955 Indian Tamil-language Drama movie starring Gemini Ganesan, K. A. Thangavelu, S. V. Ranga Rao, K. Sarangapani, M. N. Nambiar, V. M. Ezhumalai and Savitri Kommareddy. The movie is based on Manmoyee Girls School by Rabindranath Maitra Detective by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. Vijaya Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Alur Chakrapani, B Nagi Reddy, B. Nagi Reddy and Aluri Chakrapani. Missiamma is written by Alur Chakrapani, Pingali Nagendra Rao and Thanjai N. Ramaiah Dass and it is directed by L. V. Prasad. Vijaya Productions acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Missiamma was released on 14th February 1955 and takes a screen time of 179 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Aluri Chakrapani. Cinematography was done by Marcus Bartley and editing by C. P. Jambulingam and G. Kalyanasundaram. The music was composed by S.
