Parasakthi

During World War II, three Indian immigrant brothers live in Burma, and when only one brother can attend their sisters wedding in Madurai due to the war, he becomes stranded, impoverished, and fakes insanity until he eventually finds his destitute sister who faces poverty, harassment, and arrest before they are eventually helped by their other siblings and a kind-hearted wealthy woman. Parasakthi is a 1952 Indian Tamil-language Drama film starring V. C. Ganesan, S. V. Sahasranamam, S. S. Rajendran, Sriranjani Jr., Pandari Bai, Shivaji Ganesan and Ramasami V.k. The movie is based on Parasakthi by Pavalar Balasundaram. National Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) P. A. Perumal Mudaliar. Parasakthi is written by M. Karunanidhi and directed by R. Krishnan, S. Panju and Krishnan Panju. National Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film.
