Mahasamudram

A kind-hearted fisherman falls in love with the sister of his football teams arch-rival, but their relationship is threatened when she accidentally kills her brother and his mentally ill father is kidnapped by the villains of Mattukara. Mahasamudram is a 2006 Indian Malayalam-language Action Drama movie featuring Laila Mehdin, Jagathy Sreekumar, Mohanlal Viswanathan, Saikumar Nair, Innocent Vareed Thekkethala, Nedumudi Venu and Subair. Revathy Kalamandhir was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) G. Suresh Kumar. The film is written and directed by S. Janardhanan and S. Janardanan. Seven Arts Release acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Mahasamudram was released on 1st September 2006. Cinematography was done by Shaji Kumar and editing by L. Bhoominathan. The music was composed by M. Jayachandran along with Kannan Sooraj Balan.
