Three girls plant a sapling to symbolize their friendship, but after one of them dies during an abortion, the others must navigate the aftermath and eventually reunite years later. Notebook is a 2006 Indian Malayalam-language Drama Musical movie featuring Maria Roy, Roma Asrani, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Skanda Ashok, Parvathi Menon, Sooraj and Navani Devanand. Grihalakshmi Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) P. V. Gangadharan. Notebook is written by Bobby Prakash, Sanjay Prakash and Bobby-sanjay and it is directed by Roshan Andrews and Rosshan Andrrews. Kalpaka Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Notebook was released on 15th December 2006 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. Notebook was made on a budget of ₹19 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹4 crore. Cinematography was done by R. Diwakaran and editing by Ranjan Abraham. The music was composed by Mejo Joseph.
