Vargam

A corrupt police officer gets caught up in smuggling, bribery and conflict with a businessman, but falls in love with a woman whose kidnapping leads to violence. Vargam is a 2006 Indian Malayalam-language Action Crime movie featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Renuka Menon, Devan Sreenivasan, Vijayaraghavan Pillai, Rajan P. Dev, Cochin Hanifa and Narayanan Nair. Malayalam Movie Makers was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Haseeb, Dhalik and Noushad. The motion picture is written and directed by M. Padmakumar. Sargachitra acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Vargam was released on 10th February 2006. Cinematography was done by Shamdat Sainudeen and editing by Ranjan Abraham. The music was composed by Thottappally Subhash along with Thej.
