Balettan, a happy family man with a love for theater, faces financial trouble and is imprisoned falsely, leading him to take on the responsibility of caring for his hidden second family while struggling with distrust and blackmail from a stranger named Bhadran. Balettan is a 2003 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Drama movie featuring Nedumudi Venu, Harisree Ashokan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Riyaz Khan, Mohanlal Viswanathan, Devayani Rajakumaran and Gopika Anil. Aroma Movie International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) M. Mani. Balettan is written by T.a. Shahid and T. A. Shahid and it is directed by V.m. Vinu and V. M. Vinu. Aroma Release acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Balettan was released on 29th August 2003. The Film was successful at box office. Balettan was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹12 crore. Cinematography was done by Anandakuttan and editing by P. C. Mohanan. The music was composed by M. Jayachandran along with C. Rajamani.
