After 27 years, Pennywise returns and kills a man in Derry, prompting Mike Hanlon to bring the Losers Club back together to fulfill their promise to kill Pennywise, but Stanley kills himself, causing initial resistance from Richie and Eddie until Beverlys psychic visions persuade them, leading to the Losers gathering items from their past and ultimately defeating Pennywise, with Eddie sacrificing his life, and afterwards they go their separate ways but remain connected as losers.
