The movie is inspired from Candyman by Bernard Rose The Forbidden by Clive Barker. Candyman was Produced by Jordan Peele, Ian Cooper and Win Rosenfeld. Candyman is written by Clive Barker and Jordan Peele and it is directed by Nia Dacosta. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Candyman was released on 23rd September 2021 and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. Candyman was made on a budget of $25 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $25 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfeld and Nia DaCosta. Cinematography was done by John Guleserian and editing by Catrin Hedstr m. The music was composed by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe.
