Hakk

The first story depicts the kidnapping of a politicians daughter by a Naxal group in a Marathi movie, while the second is about a WWII medic who refused to kill people. Hakk is a 2017 Marathi-language Action Drama motion picture featuring Andrew Garfield, Sam Worthington, Luke Bracey, Teresa Palmer, Hugo Weaving, Rachel Griffiths and Smita Shewale. The movie is inspired from The Conscientious Objector by Terry Benedict. Hakk was Produced by Bill Mechanic, David Permut, Terry Benedict, Paul Currie, Bruce Davey, Brian Oliver and William D. Johnson. The movie is directed by Mel Gibson. Summit Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Hakk was released on 17th February 2017 and takes a screen time of 139 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Hakk was made on a budget of $40 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $180 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Robert Schenkkan and Andrew Knight. Cinematography was done by Simon Duggan and editing by John Gilbert. The music was composed by Rupert Gregson-williams.
