In the 1980s, a political advisers extramarital affair with a dancer is revealed, leading to accusations and threats, but it is later discovered that the advisers brother-in-law, not him, raped the dancer, prompting her to urge reporters to investigate the lives of Tamasha artists before parting ways with the adviser, carrying his child in secret. Chandramukhi is a 2022 Indian Marathi-language Drama Romance film starring Amruta Khanvilkar, Adinath Kothare, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Samir Choughule, Mohan Agashe, Prajakta Mali and Ajith Redekar. The movie is inspired from Chandramukhi by Vishwas Patil. Chandramukhi was Produced by Tejaswini Pandit, Akshay Bardapurkar, Piiyush Singh, Abhayanand Singh and Saurabh Gupta. Chandramukhi is written by Chinmay Mandlekar and Vishwas Patil and it is directed by Prasad Oak. Planet Marathi acquired the distribution rights for the film. Chandramukhi was released on 14th May 2022 and takes a screen time of 164 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Chandramukhi was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹14 crore. Cinematography was done by Sanjay K. Memane and editing by Faizal Mahadik and Imran Mahadik. The music was composed by Ajay Atul.
