A police officer named Mauli takes on a ruthless criminal in a village, gaining admiration from a woman named Renuka, only for it to be revealed that Mauli is actually his twin brother who sacrifices his life to save Mauli, leaving him to face the criminals henchmen alone and discover his own strength and determination. Mauli is a 2018 Indian Marathi-language Action Drama movie featuring Riteish Deshmukh, Saiyami Kher, Siddharth Jadhav, Girija Oak, Genelia D Souza, Jitendra Joshi and Vijay Nikam. Mumbai Film Company in association with Hindustan Talkies. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Genelia Deshmukh. Mauli is written by Kshitij Patwardhan and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Jio Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mauli was released on 14th December 2018 and takes a screen time of 136 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Mauli was made on a budget of ₹10 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹26 crore. Cinematography was done by Amalendu Choudhary and editing by Sanjay Sankla. The music was composed by Ajay Gogavale along with Atul Gogavale and Ajay-atul.
