Huchcha

A tough and dominant college rowdy named Sachidananda, also known as Kiccha, becomes infatuated with a shy girl named Abishta, kidnaps her, but is later attacked by brothel goons, resulting in brain damage, leading him to an ashram, where he regains his memory, only to find out that Abishta has committed suicide, leaving him devastated and with nothing left to live for. Huchcha is a 2001 Indian Kannada-language Action Drama motion picture starring Rekha Vedavyas, Rekha Vedavyasa, Avinash, Shivaram, Pavithra Lokesh, Bullet Prakash and Kiccha Sudeep. The movie is based on Sethu. Oscar Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K.mustafa, and Smt. A. Meharunnisa Rehman. Huchcha is written by M. S. Ramesh and R. Rajashekhar and it is directed by Om Prakash Rao. Ramu enterprises acquired the distribution rights for the film. Huchcha was released on 6th July 2001 and takes a screen time of 142 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Bala. Cinematography was done by Anaji Nagaraj and editing by S. Manohar. The music was composed by Rajesh Ramanath. At the 2002 South Filmfare Awards It won an award for Best Actor (Kiccha Sudeep).
