Whiteout

U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko tracks a killer in Antarctica, as the sun is about to set for six months. Whiteout is a 2009 English-language Action Crime movie starring Kate Beckinsale, Gabriel Macht, Columbus Short, Tom Skerritt, Alex O'loughlin, Shawn Doyle and Sarah Murphy-dyson. The movie is based on Whiteout 1999 novel by Greg Rucka Steve Lieber. Dark Castle Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Joel Silver, Susan Downey and David Gambino. Whiteout is written by Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, Chad Hayes, Carey Hayes, Greg Rucka and Steve Lieber and it is directed by Dominic Sena. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Whiteout was released on 17th September 2009 in English and Russian languages and takes a screen time of 101 minutes. Whiteout was made on a budget of $35 million and at the box office it grossed only $17 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jon Hoeber, Erich Hoeber, Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes. Cinematography was done by Christopher Soos and editing by Martin Hunter and Stuart Baird. The music was composed by John Frizzell.
