The movie is based on From Hell by Alan Moore Eddie Campbell. Underworld Pictures in association with Don Murphy Productions and Jane Hamsher/Amy Robinson Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Donna Murphy, Don Murphy and Jane Hamsher. From Hell is written by Alan Moore, Eddie Campbell, Terry Hayes and Rafael Yglesias and it is directed by Albert Hughes, Allen Hughes and Liz Bloor. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. From Hell was released on 19th October 2001 and takes a screen time of 122 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. From Hell was made on a budget of $35 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $74 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Terry Hayes and Rafael Yglesias. Cinematography was done by Peter Deming and editing by George Bowers and Dan Lebental. The music was composed by Trevor Jones.
