Barbara Gordon, also known as Batgirl, fails to stop a robbery but captures one criminal with Batmans help, leading to an obsession from a mob bosss nephew, and after a series of events involving anger, a sexual encounter, an apology, an ambush, and a near-fatal encounter, Barbara is shot by the Joker, causing her paralysis and leading her to become Oracle, while Batman confronts the Joker and offers rehabilitation before the police arrive. Batman: The Killing Joke is a 2016 American English-language Animation Action film featuring Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Tara Strong, Ray Wise, John Dimaggio, Robin Atkin Downes and Rick D. Wasserman. The movie is inspired from Batman: The Killing Joke by Alan Moore Brian Bolland. Batman: The Killing Joke was Produced by Bruce Timm, Alan Burnett and Sam Register. Batman: The Killing Joke is written by Brian Azzarello, Brian Bolland, Bob Kane, Bill Finger and Alan Moore and it is directed by Sam Liu. Warner Home Video acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Batman: The Killing Joke was released on 23rd July 2016 and takes a screen time of 77 minutes. Batman: The Killing Joke was made on a budget of $3 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $4 million. Editing was done by Christopher D. Lozinski. The music was composed by Kristopher Carter along with Lolita Ritmanis and Michael Mccuistion.
