Still recovering from a heart transplant, a retired FBI profiler returns to service when his own blood analysis offers clues to the identity of a serial killer. Blood Work is a 2002 American English-language Action Crime motion picture featuring Clint Eastwood, Jeff Daniels, Wanda De Jes S, Tina Lifford, Paul Rodriguez, Dylan Walsh and Ted Hollis. The movie is inspired from Blood Work 1998 novel by Michael Connelly. Malpaso Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Clint Eastwood. Blood Work is written by Michael Connelly and Brian Helgeland and it is directed by Clint Eastwood. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Blood Work was released on 9th August 2002 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. Blood Work was made on a budget of $50 million and at the box office it grossed only $31 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Brian Helgeland. Cinematography was done by Tom Stern and editing by Joel Cox. The music was composed by Lennie Niehaus.
