A young mixed-blood FBI agent is assigned to work with a cynical veteran investigator on a murder on a poverty-stricken Sioux reservation. Thunderheart is a 1992 American English-language Crime Mystery motion picture featuring Val Kilmer, Sam Shepard, Graham Greene, Fred Ward, Fred Dalton Thompson, Sheila Tousey and Jason R. Lone Hill. Tribeca Productions in association with Waterhorse Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and John Fusco. Thunderheart is written by John Fusco and directed by Michael Apted. TriStar Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Thunderheart was released on 3rd April 1992 in English and Sioux languages and takes a screen time of 119 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $22 million. Cinematography was done by Roger Deakins and editing by Ian Crafford. The music was composed by James Horner.
