Striking Distance

Coming from a police family, Tom Hardy ends up fighting his uncle after the murder of his father. Tom believes the killer is another cop, and goes on the record with his allegations. Demoted then to river duty, the killer taunts Tom. Striking Distance is a 1993 American English-language Action Crime motion picture starring Bruce Willis, Sarah Jessica Parker, Dennis Farina, Tom Sizemore, Brion James, Robert Pastorelli and Betsy Zajko. Columbia Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Marty Kaplan and Arnon Milchan. Striking Distance is written by Rowdy Herrington and Marty Kaplan and it is directed by Rowdy Herrington. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. Striking Distance was released on 17th September 1993 and takes a screen time of 101 minutes. Striking Distance was made on a budget of $30 million and at the box office it grossed only $24 million. Cinematography was done by Mac Ahlberg and editing by Pasquale Buba and Mark Helfrich. The music was composed by Brad Fiedel.
