The motion picture is written and directed by Susi Ganesan and Susi Ganeshan. Thiruttu Payale 2 was released on 30th November 2017. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹18 crore. Cinematography was done by P. Chelladurai and editing by Raja Mohammad. The music was composed by Vidyasagar. At the 2018 South Filmfare Awards It won an award for Best Supporting Actor (Prasanna Venkatesan).
