A group of cat burglars join forces with a master thief to steal a valuable diamond, but their plan is disrupted by an undercover cop and internal conflict, leading to chaos during the heist. The Thieves is a 2012 Korean Korean-language Action Comedy motion picture starring Kim Yoon-seok, Kim Hye-soo, Lee Jung-jae, Jun Ji-hyun, Simon Yam, Kim Hae-sook and Tweety Wong. Swastik Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ahn Soo-hyun. The Thieves is written by Dong-hoon Choi, Ki-cheol Lee, Choi Dong-hoon and Lee Ki-cheol and it is directed by Dong-hoon Choi and Choi Dong-hoon. Showbox/Mediaplex acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Thieves was released on 13th September 2012 and takes a screen time of 136 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Thieves was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of $86 million. Cinematography was done by Choi Young-hwan and editing by Shin Min-kyung. The music was composed by Jang Young-gyu along with Dalpalan.
