Jong-su, a part-time worker, bumps into Hae-mi while delivering, who used to live in the same neighborhood. Hae-mi asks him to look after her cat while she s on a trip to Africa. When Hae-mi comes back, she introduces Ben, a mysterious guy she met in Africa, to Jong-su. One day, Ben visits Jong-su s with Hae-mi and confesses his own secret hobby. Written by anonymous Burning is a 2018 Korean Korean-language Drama Mystery film featuring Yoo Ah-in, Steven Yeun, Jeon Jong-seo, Jun Jong-seo, Soo-kyung Kim, Seung-ho Choi and Donald J. Trump. The movie is based on Barn Burning by Haruki Murakami. Pinehouse Film in association with Now Film and NHK. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lee Joon-dong and Lee Chang-dong. The movie is directed by Lee Chang-dong. CGV Arthouse acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Burning was released on 5th July 2018 and takes a screen time of 148 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $7 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Oh Jung-mi and Lee Chang-dong. Cinematography was done by Hong Kyung-pyo and editing by Kim Hyeon and Kim Da-won. The music was composed by Mowg.
