Soon-yi, trapped in an arranged marriage, joins a musical group and adopts the name Sunny in hopes of reuniting with her husband serving in the South Korean army during the Vietnam War. Sunny is a 2011 Korean Korean-language Comedy Drama film featuring Soo Ae, Jung Jin-young, Ho-jeong Yu, Shim Eun-kyung, Hee-kyung Jin, Min-yeong Kim and Choon-ha Hwang. Sunny was Produced by Jung Seung-hye and Cho Chul-hyun. Sunny is written by Hyeong Cheol Kang, Byeong-heon Lee and Choi Seok-hwan and it is directed by Hyeong Cheol Kang and Lee Joon-ik. Showbox/Mediaplex acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Sunny was released on 4th May 2011 and takes a screen time of 126 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Sunny was made on a budget of ₹55 lakh and it was a super hit at box office gross of $51 million. Cinematography was done by Na Seung-yong and editing by Kim Sang-bum and Kim Jae-bum. The music was composed by Lee Byung-hoon along with Bang Jun-seok.
