Wallander is a captivating crime drama series about a detective named Kurt Wallander who solves a variety of mysterious crimes in Southern Sweden while dealing with his own personal struggles. Wallander is a 2008 Indian English-language Crime Drama series starring Kenneth Branagh, Richard Mccabe, Jeany Spark, Sarah Smart, Sadie Shimmin, Tom Hiddleston and Deon Lotz. Left Bank Pictures in association with Yellow Bird and TKBC. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Daniel Ahlqvist, Simon Moseley and Sanne Wohlenberg. Wallander is written by Henning Mankell, Richard Cottan, Peter Harness and Richard Mcbrien and it is directed by Philip Martin, Niall Maccormick and Benjamin Caron. Series originally aired on BBC One. ZEE5 acquired the distribution rights for the show. Wallander has only one season and a cumulative total of 12 episodes which have a running time of 89 minutes each. Wallander was released on 29th November 2008 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes for each episode. Cinematography was done by Anthony Dod Mantle, Jan Jonaeus, Igor Martinovic and Lukas Strebel. The music was composed by Martin Phipps along with Vince Pope.
