A businessman in Mexico City forms an unlikely friendship with a tired assassin, but when the assassin asks for help with a killing, the businessman refuses, only to later find himself accompanying the assassin on his final job before retirement. The Matador is a 2005 English-language Comedy Crime film starring Pierce Brosnan, Greg Kinnear, Hope Davis, Philip Baker Hall, Arlin Miller, Azucena Medina and César Ámigo Aguilar. The Matador was Produced by Pierce Brosnan, Ricardo Del R O, Bryan Furst, Sean Furst and Beau St. Clair. The film is written and directed by Richard Shepard. The Weinstein Company acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Matador was released on 16th November 2005 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes.
