In the future, a CIA operative named Snow is falsely accused of crimes, and after a prison riot, he rescues the Presidents daughter from a maximum-security space prison, uncovering illegal activities and ultimately sacrificing himself before being released and walking away with Emilie. Lockout is a 2012 English-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Guy Pearce, Maggie Grace, Vincent Regan, Joe Gilgun, Lennie James, Peter Stormare and Lewis T. Powell. The movie is inspired from Escape from New York by John Carpenter Nick Castle Escape from L.A. by John Carpenter Debra Hill Kurt Russell. EuropaCorp in association with Canal+ and Cin +. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Marc Libert and Leila Smith. Lockout is written by Stephen St. Leger, James Mather and Luc Besson and it is directed by James Mather, Stephen St. Leger and Stephen Saint Leger. Europa Filmes acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Lockout was released on 12th April 2012 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Lockout was made on a budget of $20 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $32 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Stephen Saint Leger, James Mather and Luc Besson. Cinematography was done by James Mather and editing by Camille Delamarre and Eamonn Power. The music was composed by Alexandre Azaria.
