In the late 1970s and 1980s, a pilot named Barry Seal becomes involved in both CIA reconnaissance missions and smuggling cocaine for the Medellin Cartel, moving his family to Arkansas, but after being asked to run guns for the Nicaraguan Contras, he discovers their ulterior motives, leading to the shutdown of his operation and his eventual death at the hands of the cartel. American Made is a 2017 American English-language Action Biography movie starring Tom Cruise, Domhnall Gleeson, Sarah Wright Olsen, Jesse Plemons, Caleb Landry Jones, Sarah Wright and Chris Smith. Cross Creek Pictures in association with Imagine Entertainment, Hercules Film Fund, Quadrant Pictures and Vendian Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Brian Grazer, Doug Davison, Ron Howard, Brian Oliver, Kim Roth, Ray Angelic and Tyler Thompson. American Made is written by Gary Spinelli and directed by Doug Liman. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. American Made was released on 29th September 2017 and takes a screen time of 115 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
