The Great Gatsby is written by Baz Luhrmann, Craig Pearce and F. Scott Fitzgerald and it is directed by Baz Luhrmann. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Great Gatsby was released on 16th May 2013 and takes a screen time of 142 minutes. The Great Gatsby was made on a budget of $105 million and at the box office it grossed only $24 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Baz Luhrmann and Craig Pearce. Cinematography was done by Simon Duggan and editing by Matt Villa, Jason Ballantine and Jonathan Redmond.
