A depressed and stressed film archivist finds his sanity crumbling after he is given an old 16mm film reel with footage from a horrific murder that occurred in the early 1900 s. The Canal is a 2014 English-language Horror Mystery movie starring Antonia Campbell-hughes, Rupert Evans, Steve Oram, Hannah Hoekstra, Kelly Byrne, Calum Heath and Sinead Watters. Park Films in association with Treasure Entertainment and Western Edge Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Annemarie Naughton. The film is written and directed by Ivan Kavanagh. The Canal was released on 6th November 2014 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $0 million.
