A mailroom clerk discovers his girlfriends chimpanzee can predict the success of TV programs, smuggles the chimp into the network, becomes vice president, but faces resistance from other executives who try to steal the chimp and fail, while he refunds the money received for the chimp and starts a new life with his girlfriend and the chimpanzee.
