Two friends who are dissatisfied with their jobs decide to join the army for a bit of fun. Stripes is a 1981 American English-language Comedy War motion picture starring Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Warren Oates, P. J. Soles, John Candy, P.j. Soles and Jeffrey L. Tandy. Columbia Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dan Goldberg and Ivan Reitman. Stripes is written by Len Blum, Daniel Goldberg, Harold Ramis and Dan Goldberg and it is directed by Ivan Reitman. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Stripes was released on 26th June 1981 and takes a screen time of 106-123 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Stripes was made on a budget of $10 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $85 million. Cinematography was done by Bill Butler and editing by Harry Keller, Michael Luciano and Eva Ruggiero. The music was composed by Elmer Bernstein.
