A24 in association with Cairo Cowboy and Foxera. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jeanie Igoe, Inman Young, Tyson Bidner, Jamin O brien, Nathan Reinhart and Mary Beth Minthorn. The series premiered on April 19, 2019. Creators of the series include Ramy Youssef, Ari Katcher and Ryan Welch. Ramy has 3 seasons and a cumulative total of 30 episodes which have a running time of 23-43 minutes each. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Ramy was made on a budget of $40 million and at the box office it grossed only $23 million. Cinematography was done by Adrian Peng Correia, Claudio Rietti and Ashley Connor.
