Notebook

A former army captain becomes a teacher at his fathers school, finds inspiration in a diary left behind by the previous teacher, wins over his difficult students, and ultimately finds love with the previous teacher who returns to the school. Notebook is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language Romance Drama motion picture featuring Zaheer Iqbal, Pranutan Bahl, Muazzam Bhat, Rockey Raina, Mir Sarwar, Farzana and Musa Muhammed Olayinka. The movie is inspired from The Teacher s Diary by Nithiwat Tharathorn. Salman Khan Films in association with Cine1 Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Murad Khetani, Salman Khan and Ashwin Varde. Notebook is written by Darab Farooqui, Payal Ashar and Sharib Hashmi and it is directed by Nitin Kakkar. Salman Khan Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Notebook was released on 29th March 2019 and takes a screen time of 112 minutes. Notebook was made on a budget of ₹19 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹4 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Darab Farooqui. Cinematography was done by Manoj Kumar Khatoi and editing by Sachindra Vats. The music was composed by Vishal Mishra.
