George and Rose Loomis are honeymooning at a Niagara Falls motel. She plots with Ted Patrick to do him in, but all does not go smoothly. For one thing, after Loomis is reported missing Polly Cutler spies him at the motel but her husband Bud thinks she s imagining it. Marilyn sings Kiss. Written by Ed Stephan Niagara is a 1953 American English-language Film-Noir Thriller motion picture starring Marilyn Monroe, Joseph Cotten, Jean Peters, Max Showalter, Denis O dea, Richard Allan and Roy Damron. Niagara was Produced by Charles Brackett. The movie is directed by Henry Hathaway. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The film has a running time of 88 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Niagara was made on a budget of $1 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $2 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Charles Brackett, Richard L. Breen and Walter Reisch. Cinematography was done by Joseph MacDonald and editing by Barbara McLean. The music was composed by Sol Kaplan.
