Kath, Sharon, and Kim go on a trip to a fictional kingdom in Italy where Kim is mistaken for a princess, leading to a series of misadventures involving royalty, jealousy, mistaken identity, and ultimately, the establishment of democracy in the kingdom. Kath and Kimderella is written by Gina Riley, Jane Turner and Magda Szubanski and it is directed by Ted Emery. Roadshow Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Kath and Kimderella was released on 6th September 2012 and takes a screen time of 86 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $6 million.
