Genius is a movie about a genius RAW agent who takes revenge against the ISI of Pakistan after they killed his parents during communal riots. Genius is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language Action Thriller motion picture starring Utkarsh Sharma, Ishita Chauhan, Mithun Chakraborty, Ayesha Jhulka, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Malti Chahar and Akshay Bhagat. Anil Sharma Productions in association with Soham RockStar Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anil Sharma, Deepak Mukut, K. C. Sharma and Kamal Mukut. The motion picture is written and directed by Anil Sharma. Soham Rockstar Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Genius was released on 1st November 2018 and takes a screen time of 165 minutes. Genius was made on a budget of ₹25 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹4 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sunil Sirvaiya and Amjad Ali. Cinematography was done by Najeeb Khan and editing by Ashfaque Makrani. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Himesh Reshammiya along with Monty Sharma.
