The story follows ACP Arya Phogat, who is raised by his corrupt uncle and uncovers a web of family secrets while working to expose criminal activities and corruption. Aurangzeb is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama film featuring Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sasha Agha, Swara Bhaskar and Shelley Marshall. Yash Raj Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Aditya Chopra. The film is written and directed by Atul Sabharwal. Yash Raj Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Aurangzeb was released on 16th May 2013 and takes a screen time of 137 minutes. Aurangzeb was made on a budget of ₹22 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹22 crore. Cinematography was done by Karthik Ganesh and editing by Niraj Voralia. The music was composed by Vipin Mishra along with Amartya Rahut.
