Dhoom is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime film featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, John Abraham, Esha Deol and Rimi Sen. Dhoom was Produced by Aditya Chopra. The movie is directed by Sanjay Gadhvi. Yash Raj Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Dhoom was released on 27th August 2004 and takes a screen time of 129 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Dhoom was made on a budget of ₹11 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹31 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Cinematography was done by Nirav Shah and editing by Rameshwar S. Bhagat. The music was composed by Pritam along with Salim-sulaiman. At the 2005 IIFA Awards It won an award for Best Action. At the 2005 IIFA Awards It also won 2 awards including: Best Performance in a Negative Role and Best Playback Singer - Female.
